Bird Key

Bird Key is an island in Sarasota Bay, south of the John Ringling Causeway, situated between mainland Sarasota and St. Armands Key. Originally a small island connected to the Ringling Causeway by a tree lined causeway of its own, it was the home of John Ringling North, nephew of Circus Magnate, John Ringling. Created by dredge and filled in the late 1950s, it is approximately 250 acres of one of the most prestigious residential areas on Florida’s West Coast.

Bird Key sits like a jewel caught in Azure waters between the Dynamic Art-filled Sarasota Downtown and the Shopping & Dining Mecca of St. Armands Circle and tranquil Lido beach. This dreamy gated community features 510 luxury single-family homes, of which over 300 homes are located either directly on the bay waters or in deep water canals !

Bird Key also features the private Bird Key Yacht Club which has recently been completely remodeled. And You are also right down the street from the newly refurbished Sarasota Yacht Club.
